Abstract

A new antifungal alkaloid named fungerin was isolated as a fungal metabolite of Fusarium sp. The structure of fungerin was elucidated principally by NMR spectroscopy involving ¹⁵N-NMR studies using the pulsed field gradient (PFG)-HMBC technique at natural abundance.
