Here, I observe the first original style of the master, appeared in his paintings between 1559-1560. It may be possible to detect it's roots in some undercurrents of the netherlandish art-activities. 1) Engraving, as regards the art-form of allegorical representation, 2) tapestry or watercolour painting (as Gluck pointed out), and 3) Bosch's art, especially in reference to the "flat-surface" character and the inner conception of "up-side-down world, " are unquestionable factors of influence for Bruegelian art at it's starting point. But his genius brought forth anentirely new conception of the visual world, which depended inseparably on his unique art-form. Perhaps "macchia" of his art, gives us a clue, in order to understand this union of art-form and content.
