Abstract
Accuracy at simultaneous measurement of modulus of elasticity and loss factor by combination of resonance method and free decay method of newly installed equipment was investigated. 40 times of practice are enough for a beginner to measure elasticity. Over 60 times of practice are necessary for a beginner to measure loss factor. Measured results of elasticity and of loss factor at torsion mode do not depend on individuals, but measured results of loss factor at bending mode are likely to depend on individuals. The average of twice repeated measurement for two specimens might have the accuracy of 1% on elasticity. The average of once measurement for two specimens might have the accuracy of 10% on loss factor at bending mode. The average of four times measurement for two specimens might have the accuracy of 10% on loss factor at torsion mode.
