Accuracy at simultaneous measurement of modulus of elasticity and loss factor by combination of resonance method and free decay method of newly installed equipment was investigated. 40 times of practice are enough for a beginner to measure elasticity. Over 60 times of practice are necessary for a beginner to measure loss factor. Measured results of elasticity and of loss factor at torsion mode do not depend on individuals, but measured results of loss factor at bending mode are likely to depend on individuals. The average of twice repeated measurement for two specimens might have the accuracy of 1% on elasticity. The average of once measurement for two specimens might have the accuracy of 10% on loss factor at bending mode. The average of four times measurement for two specimens might have the accuracy of 10% on loss factor at torsion mode.

This paper presents the 1st Brass Band Festival and the manufacturing school. The 1st brass band festival is organized by Kisarazu Chamber of Commerce and Industry. NIT,Kisarazu College and 7 high school bands are joined. The manufacturing school is opened by NIT,Kisarazu College for elementary and junior high school students. I constructed application Webpages for the manufacturing school. These pages worked properly although there are several issues which are to be solved.

This paper describes an arrangement of the registration Webpages for Kids Science Festival of NIT,Kisarazu College (KKSF). KKSF was held on July 24th, 2014 with the support of Technics Promotion Exchange Meeting of NIT,Kisarazu College. Last year, I constructed the registration Webpages to apply for KKSF. In this time, I modi ed the Webpages to adjust the new rule of application. The Webpages work well, and they are efficient to deal with the register information.

This paper shows a construction of application Webpages for improvement course by Technics Promotion Exchange Meeting. In the past, the acceptance process of application of improvement course was supported by telephone or facsimile. It takes time and effort. In contrast, by using Webpage, the reception will be available 24 hours, and compilation of personal information will also be easy. The application Webpages have three parts: top page, subscription page, con rmation and deletion page. TheWebpages worked properly.

A task-based PBL method has been applied to a civil engineering education in our college since several years. In the PBL education, a role of excellent tutor is very important, but it is difficult to introduce excellent tutors in current education system of our college. From this background, I have introduced learning records to make students aware of a cooperative learning. The cooperative learning by using the learning records will lead our students to discover subjects through cooperative self-instruction based on the PDCA cycle. In this paper, the concepts of adopted records and their effectiveness on our engineering education are discussed.

Many Japanese English learners including college students use the English authorized textbooks when they study English vocabulary. In the previous study, the author made up the lists of English vocabulary which is characteristically used for EGP (English for General Purposes), EGAP (English for General Academic Purpose) and ESAP (English for Specific Academic Purpose) and calculated the coverage of the textbook vocabulary on each list. Course of study for high schools was revised in 2009 and executed in 2013, and new English textbooks have been published. In this situation, the purpose of this study is to recalculate the coverage of the vocabulary used in new English authorized textbooks and to discuss the availability of those textbooks for English education in colleges of technology.

We developed the coaching method of running without the consciousness which kicks the ground. In this research, The subjects were taught the method of the running in the physical education class of a technical college. Then, a questionnaire survey was carried out in order to verify the effectiveness of the coaching method through the comparison with the method of running with which the subjects kick the ground. The following results and implications were acquired (1) The percentage of the subjects who answered ""I like running"" increased after the instruction. (2) The subjects' thoughts against each method of running were very opposite. To the running method without kicking the ground, the subjects thought ""I can run comfortably"", "" I am not tired"", and ""I can run as if I do not make sound"". On the other hand, to the running method with kicking the ground, the subjects thought ""I use much power"", "" I am tired "", and ""I run with much noise"". (3) Running will be considered as ""tiring"" and ""complicated"" if the running instructions emphasizes""kick the ground strongly"" at physical education classes of elementary and junior high schools or instructions of track and field. Therefore, from the viewpoint of the lifelong sport, it was suggested that the running method with kicking ground is a method which must be improved. (4) The running method without kicking ground connects an affirmative image such as ""easy"" and ""not tiring"". Therefore, this method can be expected as the contribution to the lifelong sport.

In this study, we tried to clarify influences to cardio-vascular functions, mechanical and mental stresses of body, during walking exercise on the sawdust (so called ogakuzu; O) surface road comparing with the concrete (C) one. So we measured blood pressure, heart rate, triaxial accelerogram, salivary amylase and RPE before, during and after walking on each surface one. To eliminate such as environmental factors (wind etc.) in the case of outdoor, the experiment was carried out in a domed facility. Ten voluntary male students corporated as the subjects whose age were 20~22yrs. Systolic blood pressure (SBP) and heart rate (HR) increased, and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) decreased, they were kept a certain level during walking after a couple of minutes when the exercise started on the both trials. But they were not statistically significant between on the O and the C surface ones. SBP indicated lower than that in the previous study, though HR was about the same. The deviation, power spectral density and Lissajous orbit of the accelerograms were not so keen to distinguish the difference of shock reduction between the two surface roads. RPE didn't show typically, it might have influenced by individual characteristics how to feel stress. Salivary amylase increased after walking only on the O. According to these results, we didn't have enough data to explain the advantage on the sawdust walking. More additional data would need to be taken about the shock reduction against a body, especially lower limbs, on the sawdust road.

The goal of the current paper is to report a song-making project for Foreign Language Activities at elementary school. A project group ""E-UTA Project"", in which project members make original songs based on teaching materials of Foreign Language Activities, plan lessons with the original songs, and conduct the lessons at elementary schools, organized the activity. The project has made several original songs for Foreign Language Activities with the following concepts; melodies that learners can enjoy, tunes that help learners understand lyrics, and repetitions of target phrases that learners learn through the songs. The project members conducted numbers of lessons with the original songs at elementary schools. Through these lessons, members observed that some learners showed their interests more than they usually showed to what they were learning through the songs.
