Abstract
A task-based PBL method has been applied to a civil engineering education in our college since several years. In the PBL education, a role of excellent tutor is very important, but it is difficult to introduce excellent tutors in current education system of our college. From this background, I have introduced learning records to make students aware of a cooperative learning. The cooperative learning by using the learning records will lead our students to discover subjects through cooperative self-instruction based on the PDCA cycle. In this paper, the concepts of adopted records and their effectiveness on our engineering education are discussed.
