Abstract
We studied the final test analytical method using the GC/MS method for 9 kinds of aromatic primary amines regulated in the EN71 standard of dye components for toys in Europe. Twelve commercially available textile products (toys and infant-toddler clothing) (20 parts of the products) were analyzed by the method. As a result, the amines could not be detected in all the products. This method had sufficient sensitivity as a qualitative analysis method for confirmation. However, it had problems with reproducibility, etc. as a quantitative analysis method, and it was considered that the method needed to be improved for higher accuracy.
