Errata for Biological and Pharmaceutical Bulletin

We regret to inform you of errors in our manuscript (Biol. Pharm. Bull. 2012; 35(7): 999–1008) entitled with “Anthocyanins Extracted from Black Soybean Seed Coat Protect Primary Cortical Neurons against in Vitro Ischemia” by Mohammad Iqbal Hossain Bhuiyan, Joo Youn Kim, Tae Joung Ha, Seong Yun Kim, Kyung-Ok Cho, published in Biol. Pharm. Bull. in 2012.

We recently discovered an error in Fig. 9A, where an image from a 2011 paper in Korean J. Physiol. Pharmacol. (15(6): 353–361) was unintentionally reused. Upon reevaluating the original data, we realized this occurred during the organization the figures for two simultaneous experiments. We found that there was some image name overlap due to different formats of images (TIFF and JPEG), and we failed to pay attention when we selected a representative image for Biol. Pharm. Bull. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused our readers. However, we believe that the error in Fig. 9A does not impact the study’s results or conclusions.

Accordingly, we have revised Fig. 9A as follows.
