In this paper, we investigate the method of evaluating the density of states D (E) of elections moving in the field of random potential. The formulations of the Green's function, diagram-matical representations and criterions with which to select some class of graphs, which have been so far developed by several authors, are compared with and related to each other. We discuss the limitations and weak points and check the validity of the approximations through those method. We calculate D (E) for the model with three-dimensional δ-function type potential.
