A Study on Planning for Hot Spring Area by Residents and Visitors Consciousness in Hot Spring Area

Case Study in Pre. Gunma, Ikaho Hot Spring Area

Abstract

We aim to comprehend present state of Hot Spring Area, and reveal charm, issue and future direction of Hot Spring Area. To that end, we carried out a questionnaire to residents and the visitors in Ikaho Hot Spring Area based on Revitalization Program survey. Improvement of residential environment and improvement of tourist spot should be done for this Hot Spring Area welcome visitors and the residents live on tourism. It is advisable to increase value as living place and tourist spot and create attractive Hot Spring Area by reconfirm and preserve charm of Hot Spring Area and improve and discuss items that the residents and the visitors think high importance in questionnaire and take soft project and town development organization into consideration.
