Abstract
This research aims to evaluate the results of the renewal program in Taipei Botanical Garden, according to the present utilizing condition and the evaluation of facility display by visitors. The results showed that the visitor components on holidays differ from those on weekdays, and the main purpose for visiting was to exercise themselves. The visitors give the facilities in the garden high score, but low evaluation was given to the display programs. The renewal program attained high recognition for facilities and buildings, and good comments were gained for the results. Therefore, "improvement of the explanation system" and "consideration of the management frequency and its policy" were the two problems in the renewal program. "To make clear the request of the visitors", "improving the facilities and maintenance policies for the garden" and "enriching the explanatory facilities" are the three factors for the improvement of the display quality in Taipei Botanical Garden.
