This study estimated the reduction effects of vehicle emissions (CO2, NOx, PM) by abolishing temporary stop rule at railway crossing. The reduction effects are evaluated about the different condition of traffic volume and number of train. As a result, all kind of emissions are reduced by 10% when drivers has no temporary stop rule and have to go slowly at railway crossing on the over 300 traffic volume and the 3 min interval of train. These are reduced over 20% (maximum 70%) when drivers have no temporary stop and no going slowly rule at railway crossing. There are different among reduction rates of these emissions because of the condition of traffic volume and number of train.
