The change in perceptions of global warming was analysed through an online survey and group interviews. According to the results of the analysis, the video on the impact of global warming provided a vicarious exposure to the participants in their 20s, who had otherwise been difficult to sensitize, raised their perceptions of the effects of global warming, and provided them with clarity and certainty about the seriousness of the threat. These findings suggest that the moving images depicting the risks from global warming were more effective than a website. Compared to websites, the video on adaptation to global warming was more effective in raising the perception of 20-something participants towards the adaptation behaviour and the perception of 40-something participants towards the adaptation policy at local level.
