Abstract

After the three-year discussion on the adequacy of the long-term global goal, the structured expert dialogue (SED) reported that it is inadequate to understand up to 2 °C of warming is considered safe and that countries should continue considerations on strengthening the long-term global goal to 1.5 °C. This research aimed to summarize the SED outcomes and analyzed how stakes of the governments were reflected to the final outcome.
