Study on Town Planninng with Measures for Thermal Environment by Utilizing Regional Resources

Survey of Thermal Environment in “Fuji-dori” of Kasukabe City

Abstract

In order to promote city planning with adaptation for thermal environment by utilizing regional resources, the surveys were conducted in “Fuji-dori” of Kasukabe city。 From the results of measurements, the effects of mitigating thermal environment by wisteria shelf is confirmed. In addition, it was able to verify the effects of heat stress reduction during walking under wisteria shelf。 Promoting city planning with adaptation for thermal environment using wisteria shelf, the actions which are appropriate maintenance and management of wisteria shelf, quantitative evaluation of the effects, and effective information provision, are important。
