Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the situation and response of damage and evacuation caused by Typhoon 19 Hagibis in relation to the location information and the process leading to life recovery. In this survey, evacuation methods were confirmed in advance by reviewing the flood hazard map. However, it was shown that the high awareness of zero risk among the residents and the distance to the evacuation shelter became barriers. In addition, it was clarified that many households damaged by inundation on the floor spend a lot of money on rebuilding their lives.
