Awareness of Municipal Governments to Implementation of Solar-Sharing Projects

Abstract

Solar-sharing projects have been fully introduced since 2013. Then, various problems appear now. This article aims to analyze the awareness of municipal governments to the issue through questionnaire survey on municipalities. The main result shows that it is likely to be considered to be difficult to coexist the solar-PV and farming. The reason is that there are concerns unfavorable effects for agriculture while they recognized the promotion of renewable energies as inevitable. It implies the necessity to introduce system to effectively utilize abandoned farmlands while preserving prime farmlands.
