A Study on the Characteristics that Promote the Introduction of Woody Biomass Boilers

: The Case Study in Kuji City, Iwate-

Abstract

In this report, we organized the factors of regional characteristics and corporate characteristics required for the introduction of woody biomass boilers. We organized whether it corresponds to each characteristic factor through literature, field studies and hearing surveys. The case study is Kuji Biomass Energy Company, which operates a heat supply business in Kuji City, Iwate. Based on the results, we described the characteristics of this case and tried to make a proposal for the spread and expansion of woody biomass boilers in the city.
