Abstract

Traffic accidents are one of the factors that threaten the Tsushima leopard cat lives only in Tsushima, Nagasaki, Japan. In this report, using the results of a questionnaire survey conducted on Tsushima City residents, perceptions regarding traffic accident countermeasures and car driving attitudes were analyzed by comparing the results of past surveys. As a result, it was confirmed that outdoor sightings have been increasing, and the items of awareness regarding traffic accident countermeasures and so on have been increasing. Based on the results of these analyses, it can be said that educational activities on traffic accident countermeasures need to be used strategically, taking residential areas into consideration.
