Research on Groups of Citizens Raising Children who Tend to Carry out the Transmission of Nature Experiences

Abstract

This study identifies parental generation groups that transmit nature experiences to their children. A nationwide online questionnaire (n=2,265) was administered to citizens with children. Findings show that individuals feeling the effects of nature experiences highly are more likely to pass them on at home. Those engaged in local nature activities during childhood are inclined to transmit experiences within the community.
