The body measurements of 43 female students were taken by the Silhouetter method to obtain the basic data fos the composition of clothes.
Fitting experiments on one of them were done by trying six clothes with differently corrected sleeves to find Out the one which best fitted her whose arms were unequal in length.
The following results were obtained.
1. There were many students whose arms were different in length.
2. Those whose arms were different in length were afraid that they might look funny when they wore regular clothes.
3. When arms are measured for the purpose of making clothes, it is preferable that one gets the imformation as to whether the both arms are different in length, and how much, it so.
4. To a person whose arms are 2cm different in length, the clothes with 1cm corrected sleeves are comfortabe. They also mak the person look nicer.
