Abstract

Three new Daphniphyllum alkaloids, daphnezomines T—V (1—3), were isolated from the leaves and branches of Daphniphyllum humile (Daphniphyllaceae). The structures and relative stereochemistry of 1—3 were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data. Daphnezomine T (1) is the first alkaloid without a branched C₁ unit at C-5 among all Daphiniphyllum alkaloids reported so far.
