Synthesis of N-Alkyl-4-morpholinecarboxamidine.

The eight compounds of N-alkyl-4-morpholinecarboxamidine sulfate were synthesized via N-alkyl-4-morpholinethiocarboxamide from alkyl isothiocyanate, wherein alkyl group stands for H, CH₃, C₂H₅, C₃H₇, C₄H₉, C₅H₁₁, C₆H₁₃, or cyclohexyl. Any of the compounds synthesized was found inactive on any of polio, measles and influenza virus.
