Abstract

(+)-Matrine (I), (+)-oxymatry (II), (+)-sophoranol (III), (-)-anagyrine (IV), (-)-methylcytisine (V), (-)-baptifoline (VI), and (-)-sophocarpine (VII) were isolated from the dry root of Japanese Sophora flavescens.
