Syntheses of the six intermediary peptide fragments for the synthesis of α^1-23NH₂-ACTH, carbobenzoxyseryltyrosylserine hydrazide, t-butyloxycarbonylmethionyl-γ-t-butylglutamylhistidine hydrazide, t-butyloxycarbonylphenylalanylnitroarginyltryptophanylglycine, t-butyloxycarbonyl-N^ε-carbobenzoxylysylprolylvalylglycine, t-butyloxycarbonyl-N^ε-carbobenzoxylysyl-N^ε-carbobenzoxylysylnitroarginylnitroarginylproline and valyl-N^ε-carbobenzoxylysylvalyltyrosine amide, are described.
