Abstract

Structure of futoamide, isolated from Piper futokadzura SIEB. et ZUCC., was determined as N-isobutyl-7-(3, 4-methylenedioxyphenyl) hepta-2, 6-dienoic amide, which was synthesized by an unambiguous route.
