Abstract
The roots of Angelica longeradiata (MAXIM.) KITAGAWA afforded two new ester coumarins, angeladin (III) and isoedultin (IV) together with known coumarins, archangelicin (I) and umbelliferone (II). The structures of III and IV were established as 2'(S), 3'(R)-O-angeloy1-3'-p-coumaroyloxy-2', 3'-dihydrooroselol and 2'(S), 3'(R)-O-angeloy1-3'-acetoxy-2', 3'-dihydrooroselol, respectively.
