Studies on Organic Fluorine Compounds. XII. Photolysis of (Fluoroalkyl)-s-triazines

Conjugated heterocyclic compound of low aromaticity, s-triazines (I) with CF₃ and/or CF₂Cl group, were irradiated and dihydro compounds (II), adducts (III), and substituted compounds (IV) were obtained. Ratio of II, III, and IV depended on the kind of the substituent present and the solvents working as reagent. Mechanism of these reactions was proposed from considering their effects.
