Abstract
The effect of N-perfluoroacyl groups and ester groups on the resolution of diastereoisomeric N-perfluoroacylprolyl-amino acid esters with respect to retention times and separation factor was investigated in detail on OV-1 column. Relation between separation factors of amino acids and CF2 groups in N-perfluoroacylprolyl groups and CH2 groups in primary alcohols was discussed. It was concluded that the order of elution of racemic amino acids was not influenced by N-perfluoroacyl groups or the ester groups.
