Abstract
A new chalcone, xanthoangelol was isolated from the roots of Angelica keiskei KOIDZUMI (Umbelliferae), and was elucidated as 2', 4', 4-trihydroxy-3'-[(E)-3, 7-dimethyl-2, 6-octadienyl] chalcone.
