H-Asp-Gly-Ile-Asp-Tyr-Lys-Met-Gly-His-Phe-Arg-Trp-Gly-Ala-Pro-Met-Asp-Lys-OH, dogfish β-MSH (Scyliorhinus canicula), was synthesized in a conventional manner by applying the hydrogen fluoride procedure.
