Abstract

Four triterpenoid saponins, tentatively named saponins K₃, K₆, K₁₀ and K₁₂, were isolated from the stems of Hedera rhombea BEAN (Araliaceae). They were identified with hederagenin glycosides represented as formulae I, III, V and IX, respectively.
