Abstract

Azalomycin F_4a (C₅₆H₉₅N₃O₁₇), an antibiotic produced by Streptomyces hygroscopicus var. azalomyceticus, was purified and its physicochemical properties were determined. Partial strutures of this compound were elucidated from its spectral data.
