Abstract

Two new D/E cis-5α-cevanine alkaloids, delavine (1) and delavinone (2), which lack a hydroxyl group at C-20, have been isolated together with imperialine from Fritillaria delavayi Franch (Liliaceae). The X-ray crystallographic analysis of 2 also has been accomplished.
