Abstract

Bryophyllin-A, a novel bufadienolide 1, 3, 5-orthoacetate with potent cytotoxicity, and the known bersaldegenin-3-acetate have been isolated from (Bryophyllum)___- (pinnatum)___- and their structures have been established from spectral data and single-crystal X-ray analyses.
