Abstract
This study was focused on the retail store of the local facilities. We aimed to clarify the facility role for secure city planning by investigating the actual use of the utilization and utilization and the contacting function of elderly people. We investigated whether there are connections with local communities and connections with friends at stores frequently used for daily life. The supermarket seems to be a person seeking convenience and expecting a role as an interaction base. Increase in the frequency of use of various stores, rest space is greatly involved in contact with everyday life. Now that the contacts of the elderly have become weak, we found that setting up a convection space such as a break at a store is effective as a means of naturally generating contact from the viewpoint of using stores in everyday life.
