The results show that the Kenson has long been subject to demolition due to the intentions of its owners, the ministry of military and Taiwan government. However, as the demolition of the Kenson accelerated, a trend towards its preservation emerged, based on the history that had been fostered in the village and the need to protect the rights of its residents to live there. Now, the value of preserving the area as a symbol of a unique living area that is different from the surrounding area, which has been fostered by the residents in Kenson.
