抄録

There are many public interest corporations around National University Corporations (NUCs) in Japan that conduct various projects in cooperation with universities and their faculty members. These corporations have no capital relationship with their NUCs. However, many of these corporations support the NUCs’ activities as a “National University Group”. These corporations have been established based on changes in the external or internal environment of NUCs, and contribute to solving the institutional bottlenecks that NUCs are facing.
