We treated 34 atopic dermatitis patients with dupilumab, and evaluated its efficacy and side effects. The scores of IGA, EASI, BSA, POEM and DLQI improved in all the patients. Levels of LDH, IgE, and TARC also improved in almost all cases. As side effects, elevations of esosinophils were seen in 13 cases, allergic conjunctivitis / periocular itchness or redness in 15 cases, cough/asthma in 6 cases, herpes simplex in 4 cases, and Kaposi's varicelliform eruption, psoriasis-like eruption, and exfoliation of the skin in 1 case each. No severe reactions led to discontinuation of treatment. Dupilumab is well tolerated and effective.
