Tropical and subtropical drift fruits and seeds were collected on the Goto Islands in western Japan from 1981 to 2022. Totally 25 species and 410 fruits and seeds were recorded. Frequent drift fruits and seeds were those of Cocos nucifera (52.2%), followed by Terminalia catappa (19.0%) and Barringtonia asiatica (10.7%). The morphology of drifts seeds of Leguminosae was compared among the same genera.
