This study evaluated the convenience and accessibility of 10 transit-oriented development (TOD) neighbourhoods in Greater Adelaide, with convenience determined by points-of-interest (POI) data such as supplies of food, beverages and services. Railway-station accessibility mainly used the available geographic information system (GIS) data, covering areas such as road connectivity and available number of buses, within the TOD catchment (an 800m radius centred on a railway station). The entropy method was used to determine the weight of each indicator, and a coupling coordination degree model was used to evaluate the level of coordination of convenience and accessibility. The analysis of existing TODs demonstrated their advantages and disadvantages holistically and led to recommendations for improving convenience and accessibility.
