This study explores the weather impacts on activity-travel behavior using both self-reported behavioral data and stated preference responses under various weather conditions collected in Vietnam. Weather conditions tend to influence travel decisions, including trip cancellation, changes in destination, mode choice and departure time. The findings reveal that adverse weather conditions not only increase the cancel decision but also significantly impact mode choice and departure time. By exploring different aspects of activity-travel behaviors, our study provides a more comprehensive understanding of how individuals adjust their travel behavior in response to adverse weather. These findings are particularly relevant in the context of climate change and urban transportation planning in vulnerable countries, offering valuable insights for transport planners and policymakers to develop strategies that enhance the sustainable aspects of transport systems under extreme weather conditions.
