We present a theoretical study of the electronic transport through finite-sized nano-scale graphitic ribbon under the finite bias voltage. By making use of the self-consistent charge density functional tight-binding method along with the Keldysh nonequilibrium Green's function formalism, we obtain remarkable nonlinear behaviors of the current-voltage characteristics of graphitic ribbons, which are found to be attributed to their unique electronic structures by analyzing the energy distribution of the transmission probabilities.
