In order to explore mechanism of haze in the optical anisotropic film, polymerization behavior of the rod-like liquid-crystalline acrylates and optical properties of the polymerized film of the acrylates were investigated. It was estimated that light scattering from multidomains, which consist of lamella structure, caused haze of the films, Details including relationship between domain formation behavior and polymerization behavior will be discussed at the conference site.
