We have synthesized a novel liquid crystalline crosslinker with carrier transport properties. A liquid crystalline crosslinker of 2-phenylnaphtalene derivative showed the nematic phase between -5 ℃ and 25 ℃. The texture of the present material showed very small domain with ac. several tens μm. The photocurrent response was investigated in non-polymerized and photopolymerized cells. The polymerized cell showed larger dark current than that of the monomer cell. In polymerized cell, transient photocurrent was so dispersive that we could not determined the mobility in time-of-flght experiments.
