2B09 側鎖にフェニルアゾベンゼンをもつオルガノホスファゼンの液晶相転移(化学・材料)

抄録

We prepared hexakis (4- (4'-decyloxy) phenylazophenoxy) cyclotriphosphazene (HDPCP) and octakis (4- (4'-decyloxy) phenylazophenoxy) cyclotetraphosphazene (ODPCP). Their phase transitions were studied using DSC and X-ray diffraction measurements and polarizing microscope observations. In HDPCP, a schlieren texture with a n ≧ 2 discrination was observed in a mesophase, which suggests the existence of a higher ordered smectic phase. No mesophase was observed in ODPCP.
