We newly develop a two-dimensional and hyperfine measurement method for precisely determining cell parameter distributions in the practical LCD panel with color filters by using Stokes parameters at the wavelength of near-infrared region. Since the transmission light passing through the panel is independent of the absorption of the color filters, the hyperfine 2D cell thickness and twist angle distributions can easily be determined by measuring Stokes parameters of the panel for each pixel of a high resolution CCD camera.
