We investigate optical propertes of liquid crystal (LC) microlenses using molecular simulation by using 3D-FDM. The hexagonally-patterned single LC microlens and influence of neighboring pattern electrodes on optical properties in one and two dimensional (1D and 2D) arrays are studied. The neighboring pattern affect hardly on the focal length when the pattern pitch ratio P/D becomes more than 1.3. The difference of the focal length in the rubbing and perpendicular directions is smaller in 2D array than that in the 1D array at low applied voltage.
