3A01 2-Phenylnaphthalene誘導体液晶材料の合成と光伝導性(4)(物理・物性)

抄録

We have synthesized two liquid crystalline derivatives 2- (4'-alkyllphenyl) -6-alkoxynaphthalene derivatives (8-PNP-O-2 and 6-PNP-O-2) that exhibited both nematic and smectic phases and characterized their phase transition behaviors and photoconductive properties. We show that the intrinsic conduction in the nematic phase is ionic while the smectic one is electronic, whose mobility were 〜10^<-5>cm^2/Vs and 〜10^<-3>cm^2/Vs, respectively.
