抄録

We report results of calorimetric measurement on R-S mixture of MHPOBC. Dynamic heat capacity measurements in the vicinity of SmC^*-SmC^*_α transition have been carried out with very low freaquency ac calorimetry. The aim of the present investigation is to identify the location of a SmC^*-SmC^*_α critical point and characterize the critical behavior associated with heat capacity at that point.
