2-(4-n-アルコキシフェニル)-5-(4-メチルフェニル)ピリジンの液晶性

This study reports syntheses and mesogenicity of 2-(4-n-alkoxyphenyl)-5-(4-methylphenyl)pyridine(APMPP). The liquid crystalline phases of 2-(4-n-alkoxyphenyl)-5-(4-methylphenyl)pyridine were studied by use of a polarized optical microscopy and DSC. The phase sequence K-(S₃)-S₂-S₁-S_C-S_A-N-I is found for APMPP.
